About the role

Tesco Maintenance are currently looking to recruit a Business Data Analyst. At Tesco, our stores and offices couldn’t function without the support of our Maintenance Team. As a Business Data Analyst you will be responsible for analysing the data available to the business with the purpose of assuring the data being shared and the provision of business insights and opportunities to key stakeholders.

Should you be successful in your application, your offer will be subject to and conditional upon you providing your bank account details before your agreed start date.

You will be responsible for

• Assuring the delivery of reports for TM from Tesco Bengaluru. Act as the gatekeeper for data standards/provision
• Identifying where improvements can be made using business data across multiple platforms
• Perform business analysis using techniques such as data mining, statistical analysis and predictive modeling
• Engagement with all stakeholders to understand what data requirements they have
• Being proactive in communicating effectively at all levels 
• Take the data from the Global business and identify areas of difference between work practices
• Provide insights from the data gathered
• External process and data supplied by contractors (infrastructure support)
• Improve available data awareness / Increase the opportunity to self serve in the field
• Continuous improvement of business reporting and analytics capabilities
• Involved in the AI (artifcial intelligence) project
