About the role
To support our ambitious growth plans across our property estate here at Tesco, we are looking to recruit a Property Analytics Manager.
This is a great opportunity for an individual to really add value and improve our investment decisions by using analytical and modelling techniques allowing us to maximise the value from our estate.
You will be responsible for
* Shaping and rebuilding the role of Analytics with in property
* Working with Property colleagues to identify problem statements and determine where data, insight and analytical solutions can help simplify process, improve decision making and drive business growth
• Using data and statistical analysis to shape hypothesis and test findings
• Build statistical models to support new store investment, and optimisation of our existing portfolio across the Group
* Work with our data and systems team to ensure we are capturing and controlling data to enable improved analytics
* Work with our central Business Services team in India to determine how we can build our resource and capability to support the Property analytical agenda
• Keep up to date with latest analytical & data science trends and explore how these can be used to solve business problems
• Supporting and coaching my fellow team members, through sharing knowledge, experience and technical expertise
• Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
You will need
• Statistical analysis and modelling experience
• Using data warehouse to extract and manipulate data, e.g. SQL. Experience in Big Data (Hadoop ecosystem) desirable.
• 5 years’ experience within an analytical role
• Experience in managing and shaping analytical priorities
• Good numerate degree from a recognised institution
