About the role

I am responsible for working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to create and deliver to customers, world-class social & digital content in support of our key marketing campaigns 

Please note this is a part time 6 month maternity cover role - 3 days / 21 hours.

You will be responsible for

• The strategy and planning of content to amplify and support campaigns - to include social media, and influencing and joining up our approach in channels such as Tesco Magazine.
• Managing the production of content for digital channels: this could range from a FB canvas to a video, to a Snapchat game or optimised version of a TV asset
• Working closely with the Media Planning to develop the social paid media allocation for campaigns, to make sure we’re spending the right amount of money to reach our customers in the best way
• Setting clear measures and KPIs for activity to make sure we’re constantly improving, and to show the impact and efficiency of our activity
• Managing budgets and make sure we have the right budget split between content production and paid media
• Building a strong relationship with our agency partners – managing the day-to-day relationship with our creative and media agencies to create a high-performing, cross-agency team
• Developing strong relationships with platform owners (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google) Developing and leading a high performing team, giving them the opportunities to be their best

You will need

- Content marketing across a range of channels, particularly social media channels
-Experience of working with customer behaviours in the retail industry and how they’ve changed over time
-A keen awareness of developments and trends within social media
-A critical eye for reviewing creative content and copy
-A relevant degree or social media/content experience

Craft a distinctive brand positioning
Turn data into actionable insight
Deliver inspiring briefs and feedback (skilled)
