About the role

The size and scale of our business means we have a huge variety of finance roles and specialisms. Our Finance internship will give you an insight into the breadth of opportunities at Tesco and it’s a great way for you to understand how the world of finance works. You can also learn about the CIMA qualification, which you’ll work towards if you come back as a Finance graduate. A successful internship with us can guarantee you an interview for our Finance graduate programme when you graduate – before you’ve even started your final year of study!

Throughout your internship, you’ll be encouraged to develop skills and gain experience that will support you in your future career. You’ll also receive valuable feedback on how you’ve performed during your 10 weeks to help understand your strengths and areas to develop further.

 

We’ll kick off with an induction, where you’ll learn more about our business and your programme. It’s a great opportunity for you to meet your new team, so you can get to know more about your role or project and the area you’ll be working in.

You will be responsible for

Based in our Head office in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, you’ll either be supporting a key project or business area, making a positive difference to our customers, colleagues and communities.

 

You will need

We’re looking for self-motivated and entrepreneurially-spirited undergraduates, who can work collaboratively to deliver a project in our business.

You will need to be a quick learner who ais keen to work in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need to be a great teammate, and able to use your skills to solve problems.

You don’t need previous work experience to apply. You do however need to be in your penultimate year of study to apply for this programme.
